film
i just had my first roll of film developed in what seems like ages. there is something enjoyable about looking through your slides and not knowing quite what you are going to find.
alice and i had dinner with some family friends of ours the other night. julian, the man of the house, is a freelance cinematographer/lighting guru/jack of all trades (and master of most). he let me check out his 35mm movie camera (the first i’d ever seen/held). its amazing how lazy technology has made us (me).
film. analog. not-so-high-tech. these are the things i should probably get back to. julian told me that digital is for work, and film is for yourself. i think there is a lot to that.
would we do what we are “passionate” about if it weren’t so easy? hm.

p.s. – who doesn’t love the wienermobile, i mean really?
